NABU and SAPO carried out the special operation "Forrest Gump" - a continuation of the story around the "Midas" case. This time detectives are investigating how UAH 150 million of dubious origin could have been "laundered" to post bail for one of the suspects in the case. Cash was handed to a so-called "laundry", after which it reached accounts through controlled companies as non-cash funds. In total, UAH 150 million was legalised this way.
