And then it gets much more interesting.
According to NABU, the organisers of the scheme gained de facto control over the state-owned Sense Bank. In the published recordings the suspects discuss making payments, financial monitoring and operations in "manual mode".
NABU says the group included a deputy head of the Office of the President, a former MP, the chairman of the board of a state bank, the head of its supervisory board and others. The media name among the suspects former MPs Vadym Stolar and Maksym Mykytas, as well as the now former deputy head of the Office of the President Iryna Mudra.
A separate detail: during the investigative actions detectives found an anti-crisis communication plan regarding the work of a Verkhovna Rada temporary investigative commission, with steps and messages spelled out.
The investigation is examining a story that simultaneously involves money from the "Midas" case, a state bank, officials and possible interference in the work of law enforcement and anti-corruption bodies.
And all of this is called "Forrest Gump". But we hope running from responsibility forever will not work.
RESISTANCE will follow this case. Join RESISTANCE.
