1. §
   The Editorial policy of RESISTANCE MEDIA sets out the principles and standards that the staff of the website follow in their daily work.

   RESISTANCE MEDIA was created as an independent media outlet, unconnected to political forces or oligarchic clans. The team of the website does not serve anyone's political, ethical, religious or financial ambitions. The editorial office does not publish any commissioned materials ("jeansa"), either free of charge or for payment. The media team values its reputation and therefore does not accept such offers.

   The main purpose of the outlet is to investigate, expose corruption and publish the results. All information published on the website is checked and cross-checked for accuracy. Every author must verify the facts obtained in at least three sources. When an article or any material is reposted, the original source must be credited with an active hyperlink to it. Photos and videos used in preparing materials must be credited with their source if their authors are not RESISTANCE MEDIA journalists.

   Journalists have the right to keep their sources confidential for both legal and security reasons. If anonymity is necessary, it must be complete and inviolable. The need for anonymity is determined by a threat to the life and health of the source.

   The outlet's journalists have the right to a pen name. Under the current legislation of Ukraine, it can be disclosed only by a court decision. In their publications, RESISTANCE MEDIA authors may make value judgements. All assessments or analyses must be based on real facts and available evidence. The RESISTANCE MEDIA editorial office does not always share the opinion of the authors of a particular material. The author, who is always named in the publication, is responsible for the content of the article, photo or video. The only exceptions are press releases and reposts from other media. In the latter case, we refer to the source with an active hyperlink.
