1. §
   These Terms explain how you may use the RESISTANCE MEDIA website sprotyv.media and its materials. By opening and using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.
2. 1.
   Who we are and what the Terms cover

   The website sprotyv.media (the "Website") is the online media outlet RESISTANCE MEDIA. It is published by the NGO "RESISTANCE" (EDRPOU code 45584011, address: 79020, Ukraine, Lviv, 136, Varshavska Str.), hereinafter the "Editorial Office" or "we".

   The Terms cover all sections and materials of the Website: articles, investigations, photos, infographics, videos, section, series and author pages, and search.

   The materials of the Website are for information purposes. They are not legal, financial or other professional advice.

3. 2.
   Copyright

   The texts, photos, infographics, videos and design of the Website are protected by the Law of Ukraine "On Copyright and Related Rights". The rights to them belong to the NGO "RESISTANCE" or to the authors of the materials.

   The name RESISTANCE MEDIA, the logo and the flame mark are designations of the NGO "RESISTANCE". You may not use them as your own or in a way that suggests our participation or endorsement.

   Photos and videos by other authors are marked with their source. The rights to them belong to their owners, and using them requires the permission of those owners.

4. 3.
   How to quote our materials

   You may quote fragments of our materials and retell them without separate permission if you follow these rules:

   • RESISTANCE MEDIA is credited as the source at the beginning or in the first paragraph of your text;

   • next to it there is an active hyperlink to the specific material on sprotyv.media that is open to search engines (without the nofollow attribute);

   • the meaning of the quote is not changed or taken out of context in a way that distorts it;

   • in videos, broadcasts and podcasts, RESISTANCE MEDIA is named aloud or shown on screen as the source.

   Full republication of a material, use of our photos, infographics or videos separately from a link to the material, and commercial use are possible only with the written permission of the Editorial Office. Send your request to support@sprotyv.team.

   You may freely share links to our materials on social networks and in messengers, without any restrictions.

5. 4.
   Materials and messages from readers

   The Website currently has no registration and no comments. Facts, documents, photos or other materials for the Editorial Office can be sent to support@sprotyv.team.

   By sending materials, you confirm that you have the right to pass them on and that they do not violate the rights of other people. The Editorial Office checks the materials it receives and decides at its own discretion whether and to what extent to use them. We are not obliged to publish what you send.

   We do not disclose the identity of a source without their consent. The rules for working with sources and their anonymity are described in the Editorial policy.

   If comments or other forms for readers appear on the Website, it is forbidden to spread calls for violence, hate speech, threats, other people's personal data without their consent, advertising and spam there. The Editorial Office removes such posts without warning.

6. 5.
   Right of reply and corrections

   If you believe that our material contains inaccurate information or violates your rights, you have the right of reply and of refutation in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Media".

   Write to support@sprotyv.team with the subject "Right of reply". Include a link to the material, what exactly you consider inaccurate, supporting evidence and your contact details. The Editorial Office will review the request and reply within the time limits set by law.

   If we find an error, we will correct it and note in the material what exactly was changed. The fact-checking standards and working rules of the Editorial Office are set out in the Editorial policy.

7. 6.
   Limitation of liability

   We check facts carefully before publication, but the Website and its materials are provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the Website will work continuously and without technical errors.

   Value judgements in the materials are the opinion of their authors and may differ from the position of the Editorial Office. The author of a material is responsible for its content, as provided by the Editorial policy.

   Decisions you make on the basis of the materials of the Website are your own. To the extent permitted by the laws of Ukraine, we are not liable for losses related to such use.

8. 7.
   Links to other websites

   The Website contains links to other resources: sprotyv.team, the membership form of the NGO "RESISTANCE", the donation page, the PrivatBank statement of funds, our social media pages and the "Share" buttons. These resources operate under their own rules. We are not responsible for their content or operation.

9. 8.
   Governing law

   These Terms and relations connected with the Website are governed by the laws of Ukraine, in particular the Laws of Ukraine "On Media", "On Copyright and Related Rights", "On Information" and "On Personal Data Protection".

   We try to settle disputes through negotiation. If this fails, the dispute is resolved by a court of Ukraine in accordance with the law.

10. 9.
    Changes to the Terms

    We may change these Terms. A new version takes effect from the moment it is published on this page; the date of the version is shown at the top of the document. By continuing to use the Website after the changes, you agree to the new version.
