In its reply dated 30 September 2026, the city council said that UAH 7.026 million had been allocated in 2026 for the project of major repairs of the kitchen of Nizhyn Gymnasium No. 16, and that UAH 88.9 thousand had actually been used at that point.
And on 5 October Nizhyn Gymnasium No. 16 announced a procurement for major repairs of this kitchen. 📋 Tender: UA-2026-10-05-000066-a
💰 Expected tender value - UAH 8,353,151.
So there is a difference of over UAH 1.3 million between the amount we were told in the reply to our request and the expected value of the new procurement.
📌 This raises a perfectly logical question:
Why did the cost of the project rise by almost 19% in just a few weeks?
It is important for the community to understand how such costs are formed and how much budget money will ultimately go to this site.
RESISTANCE continues to monitor the use of budget funds and to draw attention to situations that require public explanations.
