Offshores, crypto, trusts and Halushchenko in pre-trial detention: how the financial scheme worked
The court's decision and the risk of a "golden cage". The High Anti-Corruption Court ordered pre-trial detention for Halushchenko, a figure in "Mindichgate", with the alternative of UAH 200 million bail. He is charged with serious crimes punishable by 7 to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property. Halushchenko said he would challenge the amount of bail, saying he wants it to be UAH 30 million.
