million in unjustified assets? Welcome back to the SBI
This is about Andrii Chapchai, deputy head of a department in the central office of the SBI. The HACC found unjustified the assets used by Chapchai and his wife, prosecutor Yuliia Apolonina, and ordered the recovery of about UAH 7 million. They include an apartment in the Frantsuzkyi Kvartal 2 residential complex in Kyiv worth almost UAH 3.8 million, a parking space for UAH 700 thousand and UAH 2.5 million - part of the cost of another apartment. The HACC Appeals Chamber upheld the decision, after which Chapchai was dismissed from the SBI.
